I was going to write about the usual trivial crap & then I found out that one of my friends has been diagnosed as having breast cancer & is going into hospital next week!!
I don't think I can really write much today as I am a bit freaked out by it.

I'm saddened to learn of your friend's diagnosis and can relate to your feelings upon hearing the news. They do amazing things these days with treatment. I've had several friends with breast cancer over the years ... and most are doing amazingly well. One lost her battle about 4 years ago, but not before she watched her youngest daughter graduate from high school (which was her main goal). Her girls were toddlers when she was first diagnosed. Amazing gal! I wish your friend all the best and shall remember both of you in my prayers.
